Privacy Policy

Vibe Manager values your privacy and is designed to operate entirely on your device. The application never uploads configuration files or personal information to any server. All data stays under your control.

What Data We Collect

  • No cloud storage: Configuration files, rule sets, slash commands, and backups remain on your machine.
  • No telemetry: Vibe Manager does not send usage analytics, crash reports, or debugging data.
  • No account required: You can use the app without logging in or creating an online profile.

Local Storage

By default, Vibe Manager stores its data in ~/.vibemanager/. Each sync creates a timestamped backup so you can roll back changes at any time. You may relocate or delete these files manually.

Permissions & Paths

  • Before each write, the app shows the target path and diff, and automatically creates a local backup.
  • On first use, the app presents an authorization panel for your home directory; granting access stores a security-scoped bookmark locally, and you can re-authorize later in Settings.
  • You can adjust paths or disable write operations anytime via the Settings page.

Third-Party Services

Interactions with external tools (VS Code extensions, Claude, Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor, etc.) run entirely on your machine; we do not share user data with their vendors.

Website Analytics

The marketing website and landing pages load the Microsoft Clarity tracking script to record aggregated metrics like page views, click heatmaps, and scroll depth so we can improve messaging and layout. Microsoft anonymizes the data before presenting it to us, and no personally identifiable information is collected.

You may opt out any time by blocking third-party scripts, enabling tracking protection, or filtering the clarity.ms domain—doing so will not affect the app’s local features.

Children & Minors

The app targets general developer audiences, is not designed for children, and does not collect information about minors.

Policy Updates

We may update this privacy policy; significant changes will be highlighted on the in-app Policies page. Continued use signifies acceptance of the updated terms.

Terms of Service

Welcome to Vibe Manager. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vibe Manager application ("Software", "App", "Service") provided by D Dang ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Vibe Manager, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vibe Manager, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and D Dang.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install Vibe Manager on devices you own or control
  • Use the Software for personal or commercial purposes
  • Use the Software on multiple devices (subject to App Store terms)

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Software
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, or redistribute the Software
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices from the Software
  • Use the Software for any illegal purpose
  • Share your license with others (each user must purchase separately)

3. Ownership

Vibe Manager, including all intellectual property rights, is and will remain the exclusive property of D Dang. These Terms do not grant you any rights to trademarks or service marks of D Dang or any intellectual property owned by third parties.

4. Purchases and Payments

Vibe Manager is available as a one-time purchase for $4.99 USD (or equivalent). All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to their terms. We do not collect payment information. All sales are final, but you may request a refund through the App Store within 7 days of purchase per Apple's policy.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL D DANG BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
